Since 1987, I have been orchestrating weddings on various levels. From the design, coordination, planning, and preparation of the food to ensuring that not only the bride and groom have the wedding of their dreams, but also that all guests leave talking about the wedding for months to come. Today's brides are taking the traditions of weddings and tossing out the old and bringing in their own visions, their own rules, and how they want their daydream to come true.  Brides today are changing things up in many ways, and one of them is the wedding cake. 

I have been asked multiple times about incorporating cheesecake wedding cakes and adding in cupcakes, which is now all the rage. I will share that over all those years, I have seen more wedding cakes fed into the trash can at their venue than fed to their guests. Having a two-tiered cheesecake as a bride and groom's wedding cake, accompanied by gourmet cupcakes, is much more cost-saving for all brides and grooms.
