Facebook Advertising

So, back to ChatGPT, the one thing I was told was to join as many Facebook groups as possible. So, I did! I posted in "What's Up Vancouver" It was a hit as far as I'm concerned. I was hit up with multiple questions, many interested, and many questioning my costs. This morning I checked for any new followers, and my ad was taken down!
There as many desserts that can range in lower prices, mid-prices, and expensive pricing. Cheesecakes can be both traditional cheesecakes like NY Style Cheesecake to gourmet such as the Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake. The more involved a cheesecake is, the higher price it will be due to many ingredients required to provide a stunning beautiful cheesecake. There is also paying for the time of the person making each cheesecake.
I try really hard to keep my pricing on the competitive side and still claim so sort of a profit. Yet, when I am questioned how much one of my cheesecakes are, I quote a price and suddenly, the person interested is replaced with the sound of crickets in the background.
Just because one advertises on Facebook does not mean that prices are below rock bottom. A business is a business, and it needs to respect as one. Facebook used to let people advertise on multiple groups and now, it suddenly feels like people are laying out the laws of advertising on Facebook so hard, I am wondering if it is really worthwhile? I post on social groups who gather for social occasions and yet it still gets deleted.
Now, it seems that every group wants your social security number, how much you make a year from what you are wanting to promote, your business license, things that should be personal information. I mean I get the rules of certain groups such as no bullying, no threats of violence, giving sound advice, no making fun of others, or shaming others for what they are promoting or wishing to sell.
But, to purposely delete an ad with no reason or why, seems just wrong. Take the group I belong to "Cheesecake Lovers" there is constant feedback if one were to post something that is unfavorable. The Cheesecake Lovers site on Facebook can block you from posting up to a week or more, but they give feedback why. These other groups, do not.
Why is advertising on Facebook so temperamental now??
